On August 13, 2009, I was let go from Wacker Neuson Corporation after working for them as a FIELD SERVICE TRAINER.  I was three days shy of 20 years with the company. Of course, it was a sad day.   It was due to a recent reduction of Field Sales/Service personnel.  I only have the highest regard for the company who treated me so well for so many years. My thanks go out to all my friends and colleagues that I have become so close with for so many years. The company was always fair to me and, in return, I pounded the pavement daily for them to assist in increasing business. My role and experiences are described below in much more detail.  Hopefully you can find it interesting. Extensive:

Extensive 20 years of experience in instructional/training mechanics in complex computer controlled hydraulics, two and four cycle engine overhaul, hydraulic schematics, electronic schematics, electronic engineering, hydraulic engineering, customer training, territory management, warranty/service management along with sales and marketing. Very accustomed to holding a position that requires detail orientated attention, responsibility as well as the ability to make quick decisions, manage a large territory effectively and work under pressure with minimal supervision. Have demonstrated the ability to meet and exceed training and sales goals, year after year, given and grow the territory beyond corporate goals as well as suggest and implement cost reduction measures and effectively manage expense accounts to further assure profitability for the company. Extensive experience in conducting “service based” training classes in the field to customers at their locations including “certification” training as defined by corporate guidlines. Carry a “Master Certified Service Trainer” title. Have been instrumental in finding and assisting new customers and start-ups business ventures as required by changes in corporate business strategies. Have also assisted the corporate office with troubleshooting and finding mechanical issues on manufactured products to help with redesigning of the products being manufactured. Implemented manufacturing changes. Have an extensive knowledge of all aspects of warranty management from assisting the customer to file to claim to approving the items in the claim as well as working closely with corporate office management and warranty department. Experienced and instrumental in developing training strategies and creating several training manuals as well as redesigning of corporate internet sites to fill customers needs while working closely with the corporate training department to assure the best possible interface for the company and the customer.
